NATASHA & CHARLOTTE WIN AWARDS!...Both Charlotte and Natasha have had previous success - Charlotte Benham winning “Highly Commended” and Natasha Meyerhof winning” Most Consistent” at Barnifield college in October 2009. Charlotte Benham scooped 1st prize and 3rd prize went to Natasha Meyerhof in their Level 3 Hairdressing competition on Monday 22nd March 2010. The girls had to design a Disney character on their models and do a creative theme in just two hours, Charlotte designed a pirate from 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and Natasha designed 'Alice' from 'Alice in Wonderland'. Charlotte said “I could not believe that I had won but am over the moon as all my hard work has paid off”. Owner Steve Hilliard said “I am so happy for both of the girls as they have worked so hard to get the awards and for the salon to have two in the top three is fantastic!”

GOOD NEWS ON PARKING FOR OUR CLIENTS...'The Warden Tavern' pub is now offering SHH clients FREE parking behind the car park. This pub is approximately 300 yards away from the Luton salon. Also, customers visiting our Ampthill salon may park at the nearby Waitrose.

STEVE HILLIARD HAIRDRESSING ‘CHAMPIONS THE LEARNING'...Steve Hilliard Hairdressing is pleased to announce that your local hairdressing business was shortlisted for The Bedfordshire and Luton 2009 Business Excellence Awards, in the ‘Champions of Learning’ category. The event was held at a glittering ceremony on 12 November 2009 at The Park Inn hotel in Bedford. The awards recognise the achievements of leading edge employer and individuals. Now in their 16th year, these awards are the premier showcase for the county’s rising stars. Steve Hilliard Hairdressing was also shortlisted in November 2008 in the category of ‘Customer Care Excellence’.

CHARLIE & RACHEL PROMOTED...Steve Hilliard feels he has been very lucky over the past few years to have some talented and hard working Hair Stylists work with him. He is delighted to reward this hard work with the promotion of Charlie from Senior Hair Designer to Director and Rachel from Hair Designer to Senior Hair Designer. Please note that as from the 1st October, Charlie and Rachel’s prices will incur an increase. Their previous prices will be charged on your first visit after October 1st, but future appointments with Charlie and Rachel will be based on the new prices. OUR OWN KERRY WINS 'APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR BEDFORDSHIRE'...We are very proud and absolutely delighted to announce that our very own Kerry has won the 'Apprentice of the Year - Bedfordshire' Award as well as being given a 'Highly Commended Apprentice - East Anglia' Award at the East of England Apprenticeship Awards.
